Guests need to provide their own sling for the hoist.
The local shops, which include a butcher’s, off licence, pharmacy, public house, general store, bakery and iron mongers are a 15 minute walk away.
We understand how important your furry friends are to you. Each chalet can welcome up to two medium sized dogs.
We kindly ask that all dogs are kept on a lead whilst outside the chalet.
We do not have a hot tub
The sheep are not pets and we ask that they are not fed by guests. However, should you wish to feed with sheep, please let us know and we will try to accommodate this during your stay with the correct feed.
The riverbank is a protected site known as an SSSI. Guests are not permitted to access the riverbank or fish in front of the chalets. However, you are able to fish (with the correct licence) and access the riverbank from the opposite side of the river. This area is known as Stanah.
We are able to put you in touch with a local carer that has been recommended by previous guests. Please let us know if you would like this information. All arrangements will be between you and the carer.
We understand that our guests may forget to pack something that you need for your stay. Please let us know and if we can help, we will.

- 22-28 days’ notice – 60% of the total accommodation cost
- More than 28 days’ notice – 95% refund
